Trendy, Modest Clothing

I found this website that has GREAT clothes, and they are all very fashionable and their mission is modesty. It's hard to find both sometimes!
Here is a quote about their online store taken directly from their website:
" Our Mission: At Christa Taylor we're pioneering a modest clothing revolution. Our team is committed to designing trendy and modest clothes that match your unique style. We are fashions for the empowered traditionalist; offering chic, feminine, and modern modest clothing options that are carefully selected to bring you premium quality and a totally modish [chic+modest=modish] flair that allows you to keep up with all the latest trends." :) http://www.christa-taylor.com/

If you Give A Mom A Muffin

(sent to me by my friend, Jen. Had to post it! So true!)

If you Give a Mom a Muffin If you give a mom a muffin, she'll want a cup of coffee to go with it.She'll pour herself some. Her three-year-old will spill the coffee. She'll wipe it up. Wiping the floor, she will find dirty socks. She'llremember she has to do laundry. When she puts the laundry in thewasher, she'll trip over boots and bump into the freezer. Bumping intothe freezer will remind her she has to plan supper. She will get out apound of hamburger. She'll look for her cookbook. (101 Things To MakeWith A Pound Of Hamburger.) The cookbook is sitting under a pile ofmail. She will see the phone bill, which is due tomorrow. She willlook for her checkbook. The checkbook is in her purse that is beingdumped out by her two-year-old. She'll smell something funny. She'llchange the two-year-old. While she is changing the two-year-old thephone will ring. Her five-year-old will answer and hang up. She'llremember that she wants to phone a friend to come for coffee. Thinkingof coffee will remind her that she was going to have a cup. She willpour herself some. And chances are, if she has a cup of coffee, herkids will have eaten the muffin that went with it.

Common, Unpoetic Life...

"The colored sunsets and starry heavens, the beautiful mountains and the shining seas, the fragrant woods and painted flowers, are not half so beautiful as a soul that is serving Jesus out of love, in the wear and tear of common, unpoetic life." -Faber

How To Respond To Democrats....

"Tell them it is truly an historic event. The democrats have gotten the first Marxist President elected.

When they sputter back “oh no, the first black President” gently and in low tones remind them that is racist and it is not about the color of his skin but the content of his character!"
